Professor Giuseppe Pio Macario | Biography
Lecturer in International Management and Accounting at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, as well as in General Accounting and Business Economics and Organisation at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” in Tirana.
Chartered Accountant and Auditor, he is Founder and Managing Director of Studio Audit & Management Macario® (1992), and Team Leader of the MjM® Network (2005).
He serves as Chairman and member of Boards of Statutory Auditors and Supervisory Boards in companies including those listed on the NYSE, banking institutions and local authorities; he previously held the position of Auditor in charge at a leading multinational auditing company (KPMG).
He is Chairman of the Scientific Committee and Director of the Study Centre Unintermediari – Consultants in Extraordinary Finance Transactions (Business Advisor), an organisation recognised by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Education and the European Commission.
He is International Delegate and member of the Study Centre of AssoRetiPMI.
He acts as Board Advisor and serves as member of Boards of Directors of national and international corporations.
He has been a member of the Unicredit Territory Council – Southern Italy, as well as National Councillor of INRL (National Institute of Auditors) and Head of Training and Scientific Research.
He is author of various scientific and professional articles and essays.
